Amavasya is of great religious significance in Hinduism. It is a time to venerate the ancestors and departed souls. There is also a belief that on this day, the departed return to earth and visit their children and descendants.

Hindu mythology believes that by praying for the peace of the ancestors, we gain blessings of good fortune, dissolve any negative karma, and help the ancestors attain salvation.

May Lord Ganesha protect you from any evil energies.
