What herbal remedies did your Abuela commonly use when you were growing up?
The ancestors of the Valdes y Negual family were a part of a large Cuban migration to Key West, Florida in the 1800’s. Cuban families in Key West, or Cayo Hueso as it was known, frequently sailed back and forth to Cuba to visit their family, to shop, and to obtain medical treatment.
