Shen-Nung of China, the Father of Chinese Medicine, who as far back as 2375 BC wrote his own medical book called “The Great Herbal” after conducting research on himself.
The Great Herbal is still in use by practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine today.
Hemp, a species of cannabis has actually been discovered among Chinese artifacts dating back to 10,000 B.C. The Chinese used Hemp to weave cloth, to make bow strings, and for its medicinal properties. Clearly, China has the longest recorded history of the use of the cannabis plant.
